Duet Partners appoints Jonathan Lees as director and member of partner team
Strengthens investment services and corporate finance capability

Duet Partners Ltd, an investment and advisory firm that develops and funds high growth technology businesses, announced today that it has appointed Jonathan Lees as a director and full time member of the partner team. This move is aimed at strengthening the company’s financial advisory capability, particularly as the demand for investment services increases.
John Hall, Chief Executive, commented: “We are extremely pleased to have Jonathan’s talents as a highly experienced technology company CFO within the partnership. Together with Richard Conway, this reunites a close knit team that had previously worked together over a number of years before Duet.” Hall added: “This also coincides with a marked increase in the number of financing projects that Duet is involved in, both at the advisory and funding level. Jonathan’s skills are already being deployed across a number of these activities.”
Duet now brings together a rare combination of deep operational expertise as well as access to an array of growth financing options from professional investors. This enables the firm to provide practical advice right from the early stages of corporate development planning.
Duet’s investment services are focussed at fund-raising, M&A and disposal sell-side advice and execution. The Company's in-house team of specialists in the legal, accountancy and investment banking professions enables in depth coverage of each stage of the process.
Jonathan Lees: Profile
Jonathan has been a Chartered Accountant since 1982 and for the last twenty years has held a number of senior finance positions in SMEs operating in the technology and media sectors.
More recently Jonathan was CFO of RadioScape plc, a leading company in the digital radio broadcast market, where he was responsible for financing the business to a successful trade sale through periods of rapid operational change in challenging market conditions.
Previously Jonathan was CFO of First Artist Corporation plc guiding them to a successful IPO in 2001; CFO of DCS Group, a FTSE 250 International Systems and Outsourcing Company; and CFO of Eidos plc. At Eidos Jonathan was instrumental in the successful acquisition and subsequent integration of Centregold plc, the then owner of the Tomb Raider franchise, followed by the Company’s dual listing on NASDAQ. During his time at Eidos the Company raised over £80 million of debt and equity in Europe and the US to finance the Company’s substantial international growth and transition from a small UK R&D company to a major player in the global computer games industry.
Jonathan has also completed a number of senior interim assignments focusing on providing financial resilience and capability to companies in the TMT space through periods of operational and strategic change.
